GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE CONFERENCE AND SESSION TOPICS
Supercritical fluid technology has emerged in the past years as an interesting alternative for processing of biopolymers and biomedical materials. The aim of this seminar is to bring together scientists with such particular interest to share ideas in a relaxed environment.
The symposium session topics are:
The abstracts submitted and accpeted to the Workshop will be published in a special Issue of the Journal of Supercritical Fluids: "Supercritical Fluid Processing of Biopolymers and Biomedical Devices"
In addition, we are organizing this symposium back-to-back with the 5th European Symposium on Biopolymers (ESBP 2009) to which we ask your attention. The main topics herein covered will be: Biopolymers based on renewable resources; Biochemical and molecular basis of biopolymer synthesis; Biochemical and molecular basis of biopolymer degradation; Biopolymers in biotechnology; Biopolymers for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine; Biopolymers for controlled drug delivery; Biopolymers for nanomedicine; Advanced applications of biopolymers.
