Short biography sketch
Background

I am a physicist with a PhD and MSc in Nanoscience with broad postdoctoral expertise in biophysics. My research mainly focuses in understanding the mechanistic determinants of tumor growth and progression, particularly how cell-cell/ECM interactions control cancer cell motility and invasion. For this aim, I am using microfabrication and cell biology tools to develop innovative (multi-) organ-on-chip platforms and engineered models to improve our current understanding of tumorigenesis.
