Research Associate
I am a physicist with a PhD and MSc in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, and with broad postdoctoral expertise in biophysics. I am interested in understanding the mechanistic determinants of tumor growth and progression, and in particular, unravelling how cell-cell/ECM interactions control cancer cell motility and invasion. To this aim, I am using microfabrication and cell biology tools to develop advanced (multi-)organ-on-chip models of cancer metastasis. My final goal is the development of predictive tumor-on-chip models for personalised treatments in cancer patients.
